House System

The Lord Derby House System includes five vertical houses, as voted for by pupils and staff. The rationale behind this system is to be able to:

• Cultivate a positive and aspirational ethos throughout the Academy and wider Community
• Develop a sense of individual and collective commitment to learning
• Improve achievement and attainment through increased engagement
• Provide a vehicle to deliver innovative Pupil Leadership
